Back on intermittent fasting

Updated: Dec 10, 2021

Who would thought that there would be so much snow in Istanbul. After a full week of snow storms, the white thing has melted and the sun is back in town. This brings back some summer feelings and my urge to be out running. So I’m back as well and in between my bazar visits and working in my atelier I’ve dusted off my running shoes. Looking so much forward to going back to Kaş (small town on the seaside in southern Turkey) - my favorite place for running.

Inspired by David Grega who had transformed his physique with the use of intermittent fasting, I decided to give it a go, so check it out to see it yourself.

The first 4 days are hell

No matter what anyone tells you, the first four days are very tough. It is purely physiological, to deal with all those temptations, specially since i have a have a sweet tooth. But then when you see the results of it, physically as well as psychologically, you know you did the right thing! Feeling fresh and energetic, losing weight and good mode are some of them!

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Stop eating at 20:00

  2. Drop your breakfast ( you still can enjoy your morning treat, a tee or a black coffee )

  3. Drink as much as you can (mostly water)

  4. When your 16 hours of fasting is over, grab healthy portions of fresh ingredients

  5. Do not forget Detoxing, Maybe by adding a scoop of greens to your smoothie

  6. Keep going for 3 weeks and you will see the magic!

  7. Next is to enjoy the new YOU and start planning your summer vacation!

  8. even if traveling is a bit harder at the moment, there are studies showing more happiness comes from planning a vacation than taking the actual trip
